Penny Finder functions by crowdsourcing information from our users and organizing them into a searchable database.

With our app, you can:

• Scan a barcode to determine if an item is priced at a penny, based on other users' discoveries (Please note that our app is not a Price Scanner, but rather a Penny Scanner).
• Utilize the app in offline mode, as long as you have downloaded the list at least once.
• Add your own Penny Items to the list using our Penny Scanner feature.
• Showcase your incredible finds on our Haul Wall.
• Easily identify the most recent Penny Finds, which are highlighted in green and displayed at the top.
• Flag full-priced items that are mistakenly categorized as penny items, so that they can be removed.
• Add Penny Items to your favorites for quick access later.

Prior knowledge or familiarity with penny items is assumed before downloading the app. Additionally, users should be aware that this app specifically focuses on Dollar General as the affiliated store. Understanding the significance of UPC codes in identifying the correct penny items is also crucial (relying solely on images can be misleading).

Please note that while Penny Finder provides valuable information, we cannot guarantee that the stores you visit will have penny items available.
